Marketing, Motherhood, and Mayhem and Integration

One of my DVR shows is “Army Wives”.  I love the characters and the different story lines.  Nothing terribly cerebral, but it is easy viewing.  Just watched a show last night that aired a few weeks ago.  The way one of my sister companies has integrated their brand into this popular program caught my attention.  Roxy’s family was  looking for a new car for her on ”AUTOTRADER.COM”.  Trevor, Roxy’s husband, even started chanting  ” Come on AUTOTRADER.COM”.  Of course, they found the perfect vehicle!  It was very cute and seamless.  Felt very natural.  Next break was an TV commercial.  They have also been running commercials and a contest on for Heroes with Drive. 

The Contest: What makes your military hero extra-special in addition to serving their country? Tell us how they inspire you and what car they should drive. Your hero could win $25,000 towards the purchase of a new car on and you could win $500 too! 

I salute this effort.
