Just don’t ruin the brand!

I had a meeting with a client last week that has product that has an exclusive partnership with a major iconic brand.  The name of this iconic brand is all that is represented to the consumer.

During her initial discussions with this brand, she asked them what she would need to exceed in sales and to be thought of as a “golden child”.  Did she need a million dollars?  Two million dollars? 

Their reply was classic in my opinion, “You could sell a BILLION dollars, but it means nothing if you ruin our brand.” 

Regardless whether your company is mom and pop or global in reach.  “You” as a mom or a professional are also a brand.  Make sure your “brand” is presented properly in all matters.

All the money in the world doesn’t matter if your brand is ruined.
